February 1996 was a decent month it seems. After the aforementioned Forster's Tern, and early finish on the Friday of the following week provided the opportunity to nip down to a small nature reserve near Halesowen - Bibbys Hollow - to see a fine male
Pine Bunting coming to the feeding station with its commoner relatives. Excellent bird, particularly given the midlands location.
