From The Garden Trap

After finding a Green Carpet wing yesterday morning, I was up bright and early this morning to empty the traps. How I laughed as the local Robin and Blackbirds arrived too late to pick off their breakfast. I was also perplexed by some strange wet stuff all around the garden. I had a bit of a deja vu feeling, sure I've seen this wet stuff before but it seems so long ago ....

Here's a summary of the last three nights, ranging from pants through average to pretty good in terms of species diversity. Note that I changed the tungsten bulb in the combo trap to a compact flourescent for the last two nights - purely as the tungsten will not withstand any of that strange wet stuff.
