A nice, well marked L. Wainscot there. I take it you don't have too much wetland in close proximity?

Actually there's a decent reedbed site within a mile of my garden as the crow flies (Narborough Bog). This has good breeding colonies of Fen Wainscot, Round-winged Muslin and Brown-veined Wainscot plus other expected species (but no Twin-spotted or Silky).
However in the 12 years I've been trapping in the garden, I've had just a single Bulrush Wainscot (2004), Fen Wainscot (2006) and now Large Wainscot, but no Brown-veined or Southern and no Round-winged Muslin as yet.
