Garden Safari

The sun has brought a few bits out in and around the garden, though all of the following were snapped yesterday rather than today when it was actually a bit too warm to fanny about with the camera.

Birch Catkin Bug

Drymus sylvaticus - attracted to Nichola's yellow car

Pine Ladybird - one of at least five loitering on this variegated bush on the front garden

'Pollen Beetle' - Meligethes aeneus s.l.

'Cereal Leaf Beetle' - Oulema rufocyanea / melanopus agg.

Philonthus cruentatus perhaps?

Sadly I was potless whilst pottering about and it flew after this brief shot
