Funk-soul classics from the late 70s / early 80s. Some great bass grooves and melodies. Don't get me wrong - I like the music but don't expect me to start dressing like Huggy Bear off of Starsky and Hutch or doing any slick funky dance moves. Anyway, JK from Jamiroquai has all that covered. The playlist included tracks by the likes of Shalamar, SOS Band, Parliament, Peach Boys, BB&Q Band, Midnight Star, Mary Jane Girls, Windjammer, Change, Freeez, etc. Here's a couple of tasters - don't bother watching, just whack the volume up and shut your eyes. The Whispers - you'll be be-de-bwow-bwow-bwow-bowowing the bassline for days. Evelyn King
