From the garden trap - 15/08/2008

Conditions for mothing were crap for a fair while, either too cold, too wet, too windy or any combination. (125W MV 90 of 34sp., 80W actinic 107 of 24sp.) First for year in garden: Mouse Moth (Amphipyra tragopoginis) 1 Highest counts: Large Yellow Underwing (Noctua pronuba) 67 Willow Beauty (Peribatodes rhomboidaria) 19 Light Brown Apple Moth (Epiphyas postvittana) 15 Other highlights: Amblyptilia acanthadactyla 1 Gold Spot (Plusia festucae) 1
