Episyrphus balteatus - 23/07/2008

Noticed that there are lot more hoverflies in the garden over the last few days, mainly Episyrphus balteatus like this male. Fuck knows why it's also known as Marmalade Hoverfly - maybe they are often found loitering at alfresco breakfast tables.
